PRAYER - "Pray For Wisdom, Revelation, Understanding, And Hope"

A man of God cannot be satisfied with the simple conversion of a new believer. He carries a burden of prayer for every convert to become strong in the Lord. "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, ...may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 

Ephesians 1:19 - "And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe."

PRINCIPAL - "God Our Father, And The Lord Jesus Christ"

"God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ." Too often, a mere statement such as this is given as proof that God is more than one person. God is an eternal Spirit. Jesus is His only begotten Son, born of a woman in the fullness of TIME - not eternity. God is in Christ. So the statement refers to ONE and the same. Two natures - deity and human; one person. Emmanuel: "God with us." The LORD our God is ONE LORD (Deuteronomy 6:4).

2 Corinthians 1:2 - "Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ."

PRINCIPLE - "Anathema Maranatha"

His closing statements to the Church at Corinth were loving, but terse. Paul said what he meant, and meant what he said. He charged them to acknowledge their elders and work unselfishly with them for the sake of the Kingdom of God. His last words showed no sympathy for those who did not love Jesus or the Gospel. Let them be "Anathema," cursed! "Maranatha!" The Lord is coming! Paul showed unbending urgency. We must not waste time on those who hate the Gospel. 

1 Corinthians 16:22 - "If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha."

PROPHECY - "The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed Is Death"

At Armageddon, all the major evil kings on earth will be removed from power. The Antichrist, the False Prophet and Satan himself will be cast alive into the lake of fire by none other than Jesus Christ Himself. For 1000 years, Jesus will, by righteous government, finally purge the earth of all sin and lawlessness. Even so, mortal men who survived Armageddon will still die. Death will not be destroyed until the 1000 years is finished, and the material universe is dissolved. 

I Corinthians 15:26 - "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

A Miracle 

This past weekend I was privileged to minister in Forsyth, Missouri. A man approached me with a testimony to share.  He was so excited and began telling me about his heart that had been miraculously healed by God after coming up for prayer in our morning service. He told me that previously many of his family members had died young due to heart complications. Having begun experiencing these same complications at only 40 years old was frightening. He said he was feeling very sick before that service. His left arm had been hanging as if dead and his heart was in a terrible shape. He truly felt he would die young as well. Because of his sickness, he’d previously had to missed several services, but when the announcement was made of our coming to minister he determined to come.  God honored his faith and touched that man in an instant and miraculous way, immediately healing him by the power of Jesus. Lifting “both” arms he glorified God for His love, mercy and faithfulness!
