God Will Give You His Best

We’ve been in this great truth 44 years and of late I’ve seen hundreds of divine healing and supernatural miracles. It’s not a time to relax in carnality, but draw closer to God than ever before. This is the hour for revival, reconsecration, rededication, and renewal. It seems the Lord has reset all of our calendars. As for me I am open for whatever, wherever, whenever I can be used in the Master’s hands. If you’re ready as well, contact me.

PRAYER - "Before You Call"

Did you ever receive a gift you had been wishing for, but had told no one? What a pleasant surprise to know that someone knew you well enough to know intuitively what you would like to have. God is infinitely more in touch with our needs. He knows what we have need of before we ask or think. More importantly, He begins working in our behalf before we expect!

Isaiah 65:24 - "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear."

PRINCIPALS - "The First Day of Creation"

In God's infinite wisdom, He knew that light is a prerequisite to life on earth. Life on earth depends upon light. Light provides energy, warmth, sight, growth and much more. Einstein figured that light is the primary constant in the material universe. Time itself is based upon the speed of light. No wonder, then, that God created light on the first day. Will not this brilliant God of order also tend to your greatest needs first, too?

Genesis 1:3 - "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."

PRINCIPLES - "Obedience"

In the Garden of Eden, God pronounced a blessing on Adam and Eve, coupled with commands to fill the earth and rule over it. Before Eve was created, however, God spoke singularly to Adam and commanded him not to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Therefore, the first virtue God required man to practice was obedience. Some things never change. Jesus said, "if you love me, keep my commandments." God still requires obedience.

Genesis 3:11 - "Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?"

PROPHECIES - "Satan's Doom"

Great news! The first Bible prophecy was two-fold and awesome. Messiah would come and Satan would be doomed! God told the serpent, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel," (Genesis 3:14-15). John clearly said that serpent was the Devil (Satan) in Revelation 12:9.

Revelation 20:10 - "...the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, ...and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

Don't Settle for Second Best
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
– James 1:2-3
I admit, it's tough to be enthusiastic about going through tests and trials. But can you get excited about being totally supplied in every way, in want of nothing? Well, according to the Word of God, if you'll use your trials to develop patience, you're going to be in precisely that position!
You see, patience doesn't mean what you thought it meant. It does not mean settling sweetly for second best. It does not mean standing meekly by while the devil romps all over you.
No, patience is a powerful word. The New Testament meaning of it as translated literally from the Greek is "to be consistently constant or to be the same way all the time, regardless of what happens."
To understand how much power is involved in that, you have to realize that it's one of the most outstanding attributes of God Himself. The Bible says He's the same yesterday, today and forever.
Think about that for a minute. The guy who absolutely cannot be changed by anyone or anything is an extremely powerful fellow, wouldn't you say? Obviously, God has that much power.
But you know what? You do too!
By the power of the Holy Ghost working within you, you can be the same every day no matter what happens. If you'll put your trust in the Word of God and let patience go to work, it won't matter what happens. You won't ever have to accept anything less than victory again.
Now that's something to get excited about.

  1. Amen! Isn't it something what God said? "You have not because you ask not!" Ministering words today, thank you!
