Divinely Inspired By God’s Word

God Healed All Her Lung Problems

How Gideon Became Jerubbaal
Gideon’s visitor instructed him to place the bread and meat he prepared for him on a rock. The angel touched it with his staff. Instantly, fire consumed it, and the angel vanished. God then commanded Gideon to destroy the local idols and altars to Baal, which he did. Never fear false gods. They are non-existent. Gideon built an altar to the LORD, calling it "Jehovah Shalom," meaning "God is Peace." The locals wanted to kill Gideon, but his father defended him.

Judges 6:32 - "Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal plead against him..."

Supernatural Confirmations
After Gideon destroyed Baal-worship, Midianites invaded Jezreel. Blowing a trumpet, Gideon called Manasseh, Asher, Zebulun and Naphtali to war. Laying down a woolen fleece, he prayed, "...if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand." Next morning, he wrung "a bowl full of water" from the fleece. Still, Gideon wanted ANOTHER sign.

Judges 6:39-40 - "...let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew. And God did so that night."

The Men Who Lapped
God planned Gideon's success before He ever called him. He would not allow Gideon to have a large army, "...lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me." First, God dismissed 22,000 recruits because they were fearful, then sent the remaining 10,000 to the river to drink. Those who knelt down to drink were eliminated. Only three hundred who lapped remained. But God still had plenty.

Judges 7:7 - "And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand."

The Dream That Caused An Army To Flee
God sent Gideon to eavesdrop on the Midianites' encampment. Gideon heard a conversation between a man who had a dream and his fellow who said it meant that God had delivered Midian into Gideon's hands. Gideon worshipped the Lord. God can strike fear in your enemies before you make your first move.

Judges 7:15 - "And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian."

Can God Use You to Heal A Total Stranger

Inspired By God’s Word

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1Peter 1:23
You won't really get excited about the Word of God until you realize that it's more than just a collection of divinely-inspired promises. It's a living force that literally carries within it the power to make those promises become a reality in your life.
Is it tough for you to believe such a thing is possible?
It shouldn't be. You see it happen in the natural world all the time.
If I were to put a tomato seed in your hand and tell you that within that tiny, dry seed lies the power to produce a stalk thousands of times bigger than the seed, to produce leaves and roots and round, red tomatoes, you wouldn't have any trouble believing that, would you? You know from experience that even though that scrawny seed doesn't look like a tomato factory, somehow, given the right environment, it will become one.
Jesus says the Word of God works by that same principle. There's miraculous power within it. It is a seed that, once planted by faith in a human heart, will produce more blessings than you can imagine.
Once you grasp that, you'll get extremely excited about the Word of God. That's what happened to me.
Over 45 years ago, I caught a glimpse of what that Word could do. I caught a glimpse of the power within it. Before long, I had a Bible in every room of my house, a Bible in my car, and a tape player going nearly all the time.
I spent every possible moment in the Word of God because I wanted the power of that Word inside me more than I wanted anything else in the world. I knew it would blow the limits off my life, limits that had held me back and kept me down for years. I knew that when I read it, I wasn't just reading, I was planting seeds. Seeds of prosperity, seeds of health, seeds of protection and seeds of victory for every area of my life.
Don't treat the Word of God like a book. It's not! It's spiritual seed that has the supernatural power within it to produce the harvest of a lifetime. Get excited about it and start planting today!
