⏰A Difficult Time Praying

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. Proverbs 18:22

PRAYER - "The Stumblingblock Of Their Iniquity"

God said that the men of Israel had set up idols - "stumblingblocks of their iniquity" - in their hearts. "Should I be enquired of at all by them? ...They are all estranged from me through their idols." Outrageously, they still inquired of the prophets. Understandably, God refused to hear them. "I will set my face against that man, ...and I will cut him off from the midst of my people." Your prayers will not be answered while idols are in your heart.

Ezekiel 14:6 - "Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations."

PRINCIPALS - "False Prophetesses Cursed For Kerchiefs, Pillows"

Much conjecture has arisen about the meaning of false prophetesses making kerchiefs, and sewing pillows to armholes. One thing is certain. They did so to win people to themselves, instead of speaking the truth of God. They prophesied peace when God said judgment. With pillows, kerchiefs and lies, they endeavored to save souls that should not live, and slay souls that should not die. God cursed them.

Ezekiel 13:23 - "Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD."

PRINCIPLES - "Daubing The Wall With Untempered Mortar"

Never daub a broken wall with untempered mortar. It cannot stand. Never prophesy with false prophecies. They fix NOTHING. False prophecies - "prophesying out of their own hearts," "seeing vain visions," "speaking lying divinations," saying "the LORD sayeth," when the LORD did not say; they SEDUCE the people. They love them, but they incur the wrath of God!

Ezekiel 13:14 - "So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof."

PROPHECIES - "Ezekiel Prophesies Zedekiah's Blindness"

God instructed Ezekiel to act out another pantomime to illustrate the flight from Jerusalem. He was to prepare his stuff, and remove by day in their sight. "It may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house." He was told to dig through the wall, with his face covered, so he could not see the ground. Ezekiel probably did not realize it, but he was prophesying the

Here’s blindness of king Zedekiah (2 Kings 25:7).

Ezekiel 12:10,13 - "This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem. ...I will bring him to Babylon ...yet shall he not see it."
