The Barber's Razor"

Your future results determine your present action.  What do I want my future to be? Why do I find myself doing things that take away from my future? What are my goals? What am I not doing? Procrastinating is also time and energy wasted. Let’s get on course today!!

We want to thank those of you for praying and supporting us we are returning to the field by your unselfish acts.  You are the true heroes of faith.
PRAYER - "Though They Cry With A Loud Voice, I Will Not Hear"

The hand of the Lord GOD fell on Ezekiel in the plain. He saw a likeness of His Glory, a bright, fiery, amber-colored appearance. He brought him in a vision to the north, inner gate of Jerusalem, and showed him the seventy elders committing abominations near the place of the Glory of the LORD, and others committing idolatries and worshipping the sun. God will show His worst fury on such a crowd.

Ezekiel 8:18 - "Therefore will I also deal in fury: ...and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them."

PRINCIPALS - "The Sign Of The Barber's Razor"

God told Ezekiel to shave his head and beard, and demonstrate object lessons in the midst of the city. He would burn one-third of the hair, symbolizing the upcoming burning of Jerusalem. He would smite one-third with a knife, symbolizing being captured by the sword. The remaining one-third of the people would die of pestilence and famine.

Ezekiel 5:1 - "And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair."

PRINCIPLES - "The Land Is God's, And He Will Cleanse It"

God spoke to the land - the mountains, hills, rivers, valleys, even the trees - "Hear the word of the Lord GOD." He declared that He would make the entire place desolate. He would send the sword and slay all those who attended the altars of idols and strew their bodies. He would then destroy all the altars and high places. The land was God's, and He determined to cleanse it.

Ezekiel 6:14 - "So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, ...in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD."

PROPHECIES - "The Worst Of The Heathen Shall Possess Their Houses"

The word of the LORD said "the end is come upon thee, ...I will pour out my fury, ...I will judge thee, ...I will recompense thee for all thine abominations, ...neither will I have pity, ...and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth."

Ezekiel 7:3,8-9,21,24 - "And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it. ...Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: ...and their holy places shall be defiled.
Every time we read the Bible we should find ourselves in it. If your Bible is torn apart your life is not.
Psalms 89:34. My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Remember to Pray
Every one of us gets busy, and when we get busy we don’t pray. Prayer is far too important to be relegated to that kind of treatment. If the only time you pray is when you get some quality leisure time, you are going to die prayerless.

You have to get it in your heart that it is a sin not to pray. Don’t tell me anything different. Samuel was one of the best role models in the Bible - a real man of God from start to finish. He changed Israel from being a nomad nation to a divinely-ordered kingdom, not by his political or social skills, but by his praying.

Samuel said, "God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way" (1 Samuel 12:23). Did you get that? Samuel believed that if he ceased to pray for the people he would be committing a sin against God!
