Representatives of God must eat the word before they speak.

    FOUR TYPES OF GIVING click

PRAYER - "Go To The Plain, I Will Speak To You There"

After ordaining him a watchman, God called Ezekiel to a private discussion in the plain. "I will there talk with thee." When he went, "the glory of the LORD stood there," as he had seen at Chebar. "I fell on my face." The Spirit said, "Go, shut thyself within thine house." God warned him not to go among them. They planned to bind him up.

Ezekiel 3:26 - "I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house."

PRINCIPALS - "Ezekiel Saw The Throne Of God Leave Jerusalem"

Ezekiel saw God's throne in the Temple in Jerusalem. Apparently it had been there since Solomon's dedication. Because of Israel's sins, the cherubims lifted it up and moved it eastward to Elam - Babylon (Ezekiel 10:18, 11:23, Jeremiah 49:38).

Ezekiel 1:26 - "...over their heads was the likeness of a throne... and... the appearance of a man above upon it." Ezekiel 10:19 - "...the cherubims lifted up their wings... and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above."

PRINCIPLES - "Eat The Book, Speak The Word"

God sent Ezekiel to a "nation that hath rebelled against me: ...impudent children and stiffhearted." A roll of a book was spread, "...written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe." God said, "Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel." Every  representative of God must eat the word before they speak.

Ezekiel 3:3 - "Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them."

PROPHECIES - "The Noise Of The Throne Being Moved"

Do not allow the detailed imagery of these visions to distract you from the message. What is important is NOT why a man had a lion's face, or feet like a calf. The big picture is God on His throne, being moved from one place to another by this living Chariot of God. God was abandoning Jerusalem because Israel was a rebellious house.

Ezekiel 3:13 - "I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing."
