We serve only as Sons through Jesus

God did not sow a Son to reap servants. We were told Jesus would bring many sons to glory not servants.    Old covenant servants are converted to New Covenant sons! You are no more servants but sons. Galatians 4.  We are sons who serve!
*Only one time we are told to wait on the Holy Ghost. The other times we are told to go!

Service: Church of Pentecost May 26 @ 9:30am then 6pm

Thanking God for the tremendous
out-pouring of the Spirit and miracle of healings these past five weeks.

Father Of Many Kings.
Abram means "Exalted Father." God changed his name to Abraham, "Father of Multitudes." Four kings, Saul, Ishbosheth, David, and Solomon ruled a united monarchy. Nineteen kings ruled Israel. Twenty kings ruled Judah. When Jesus rules as King of Kings from Jerusalem, multitudes of saints will rule the world as kings under Him - sons of Abraham!

Genesis 17:5-6 - "...thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and KINGS SHALL COME OUT OF THEE."

Canaan
The  significance of the land of Canaan dates back to Noah. Ham discovered Noah drunk then told his brothers. Noah blessed Shem and Japheth for protecting his modesty but cursed Ham and his son Canaan. Canaan would become Shem's servant. As Shem's descendant, Abraham would become Canaan's master. That is why God gave the land of Canaan to Abraham. It included Sidon, Jerusalem, Gaza, Sodom, Galilee, Damascus and much more.

Genesis 17:8 - "I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, ...all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession."

Circumcision
From the time of Abraham, Jewish males were circumcised in the foreskin of their flesh to confirm their covenant relationship with God. The ultimate purpose of circumcision was to VALIDATE the lineage of the Messiah, proving that He was descended from Abraham. Since Jesus Christ fulfilled the redemption plan, circumcision is no longer necessary. "Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers," Romans 15:8.

Genesis 17:11 - "Ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you."

Ishmael's Circumcision
Even though Abraham circumcised Ishmael when the boy was thirteen years old, Ishmael's descendants do not officially practice circumcision as a matter of their religious faith today. The Koran, which defines the religion of the Ishmaelites, does not actually teach circumcision. A small percentage of Muslims practice circumcision. This is one of many evidences that they are not the true heirs of the Abrahamic Covenant. Messiah Himself had to be circumcised to fulfill the Covenant.

Genesis 17:11 - "Ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you."

We are always studying but never coming to the knowledge of truth.  If we’re always studying then we can could say I’m not ready to graduate!

Apostle Paul never mentions a healing ministry but he made mention of a ministry unto reconciliation. I reconcile men’s spirits, souls, bodies back to God. That’s called reconciling, salvation and healing.

The Prophecy Of Agabus Inspired Relief Efforts

There were prophets ministering in the Early Church. One of them, Agabus, stood up in the congregation at Antioch and prophesied that there would be a great dearth throughout the world. That actually took place during the days of Roman Emporer Claudius Caesar. The Church responded to the prophecy by sending aid to brethren who needed it.

Acts 11:29-30 - "Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea: Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul."

Angel Delivered Peter From Death When Church Prayed

King Herod began persecuting the Church. He killed James (brother of John) with a sword. He had Peter captured and thrown into prison, intending to execute him publicly. "But prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him."

Acts 12:6-7 - "Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands."

The Angel Of Deliverance

Angels appeared throughout the Bible. A cherubim guarded the Garden of Eden. Angels visited Abraham, Sara, Hagar, Lot, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, the children of Israel, Balaam, Gideon, Manoah's wife, David, Gad, Ornan, Elijah, Hezekiah, Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abed-nego, Zechariah, Joseph, Mary, Zacharias, Elisabeth, Jesus, Shepherds, Pool of Bethesda, the Garden Tomb, Peter, Philip, Cornelius, Herod, Paul, John, and the Seven Churches of Asia. An angel delivered Peter from prison.

Acts 12:11 - [Peter said], "Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod."

Prayers Answered Beyond Expectation

Peter's chains miraculously fell off, and the angel led Peter to the city gate, which opened miraculously. They proceeded to the house where prayer was being made for Peter. Peter knocked, and a girl named Rhoda answered. With gladness, she ran in and announced that Peter was at the door. They did not believe it. They said she was mad. Some said, "It is his angel." But Peter continued knocking until they opened the door. God can answer prayer more wonderfully than you can imagine.

Acts 12:12 - "He came to the house of Mary... where many were gathered together praying."

Herod Met His Doom

You cannot fight God and win. Herod already had the blood of Jesus on his hands when he tried to kill Peter. Herod's reckless, godless pride collided with Almighty God.

Acts 12:19-24 - "Upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost."

Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. ... Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.
