A moment in prayer/ Lauren Daigle story / OMBS7

Get our Hearts right with Gods way!

Fellowship

The Peace Offering was shared three ways. Part was burned on the altar unto the Lord. Part was given to the priest (the Heave Offering) to eat. The remainder was eaten by the people. It is often referred to as the fellowship offering because it brings the people together with God and the Priesthood.

Leviticus 10:14 - "And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons' due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings."

Be Ye Holy

God is holy - "sacred, hallowed, sanctified, consecrated, virtuous." God is one of a kind. Unique. Untainted. The opposite of holy is "profane, foul, vulgar, impure." Someday, He will purge all the universe of everything that was begotten of sin. Only God, His holy kingdom and His holy ones will remain. Put away everything carnal, worldly, and profane. Come out. Be separate. Touch not the unclean thing. Be HOLY.

Leviticus 11:45 - "For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy."

Clean And Unclean Foods

So-called "Kosher" laws forbade eating "unclean" foods. The New Testament ended those laws. Paul said of various meats, "...for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse," 1 Corinthians 8:8. He countermanded teachings to "abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving," 1 Timothy 4:3.

Leviticus 11:46 - "This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, ...the unclean and the clean, ...the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten."

Childbirth

Under the law, contact with blood made one unclean. Therefore, childbirth rendered the mother unclean - seven days for a male child, two weeks for a female. Her purification process was 33 days for a male, 66 days for a female. After purification, she must bring a sacrificial offering for atonement to the Tabernacle. After Jesus' blood made atonement at Calvary, these laws expired.

Leviticus 12:4 - "And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled."

By Faith/ OMBS7 Plus Snow Storm

Scripture
“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.”

Hebrews 11:8
When God says “go,” it’s often without giving the full picture. Maybe He’s urging you to leave something familiar—a job, relationship, or place—without revealing the destination. This uncertainty can feel overwhelming, but it’s where faith grows.

In Genesis 12, God called Abraham to leave his home and follow Him to an unknown land. Abraham didn’t know where he was going but trusted God’s promise. Faith means acting not on what we see, but on trusting God’s character and His plan.

Faith isn’t always comfortable. Abraham’s journey required letting go of security and stepping into the unknown. God calls us to “go” not for immediate comfort, but to find freedom in His truth.

Why does God leave details unclear?
- To grow faith: Without all the answers, we learn to trust Him step by step.
- To protect us from fear: Knowing the whole journey might overwhelm us.
- To refine relationships: Not everyone is meant to walk with us; some things must be left behind.

Obedience brings momentum. Isaiah 40:31 says, “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” Trusting God positions us to rise above challenges, while delay can stall His work in us.
REFLECTION
Ask yourself: What is God asking you to leave behind—fear, comfort, or others’ opinions? What step of faith is He calling you to take? Like Abraham, follow boldly, trusting His faithfulness every step of the way.

Lies And Deceptions

Throughout the Pentateuch (the first five books, written by Moses), an almost countless array of sins are condemned. But among the reasons for the five major offerings for sins, lies, deception and bearing false witness ranked among the worst of all. The God of Truth hates lies, deception and false testimony. Liars are reckoned among the worst of sinners. Only speak truth.

Leviticus 6:2-6 - "If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour... or hath deceived his neighbour; or ...sweareth falsely; ...he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD."

Compensation For The Priests

God stipulated that the priests should keep a portion of the burnt offerings, meat offerings, peace offerings, sin offerings, and trespass offerings for themselves. Prophetically, this sets a divine precedent that all ministers of all ages should be compensated for their services in the ministry.

Leviticus 7:35 - "This is the portion ...out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office; Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, ...by a statute for ever throughout their generations."

Congregation

Once the Tabernacle was fully prepared and Moses had thoroughly given instructions pertaining to all the service of the Tabernacle, he called the people together to the door of the Tabernacle to witness the consecration of the Priesthood. This was the first occasion for all of Israel to attend a holy service at the house of God, but it set a precedent. Even in the New Testament, we are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together at God's house.

Leviticus 8:3 - "And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation."

The Ephod

The High Priest wore an elaborate vestment called the ephod. Two onyx stones on the shoulders contained the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. Twelve precious stones were mounted on the front on blue, red, and white embroidered linen. Also called the Urim and Thummin, when the Priest consulted God before the Ark of the Covenant, the stones illuminated if God blessed, or gave a "yes" answer. Dull stones meant God's cursing, or a "no" answer.

Leviticus 8:7 - "...and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith."

Alive Evermore / 2 videos/ OMBS7

Jesus said, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). There has always been a price to follow Christ, and for many it has been the ultimate price.

Unfortunately but Demanding

It seems somehow ironic that God required each person to slay their own sacrifice before presenting it to the priest for placement on the altar. The murderer would be the beneficiary of the atonement. That is exactly how Jesus' sacrifice was enacted. He was killed by the very people He came to save.

Leviticus 3:2 - "And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about."

Five Offerings

Burnt Offerings (Leviticus 1) were primary sacrifices for universal sin. Meat (food) Offerings (Leviticus 2) were gift offerings. Peace Offerings (Leviticus 3) were fellowship offerings shared between God (at the altar), the priest and the donor. Sin Offerings (Leviticus 4) covered sins of ignorance - unknown sins. Trespass Offerings (Leviticus 5) covered sins that were knowingly committed.

Leviticus 4:2 - "...If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD... then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering."

Wordless Prayer

Prayer is defined as a petition, a request, or communion with God. The earliest forms of repentance under the Tabernacle plan involved bringing sacrifices to the Lord. Nothing at all is mentioned about praying, confessing, or asking God's forgiveness. Offering a sacrifice of blood apparently constituted an admission of guilt and was viewed as a petition for God's forgiveness. Sometimes, actions speak louder than words.

Leviticus 4:23 - "Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish."

Sermon  <click The simple STUFF

Confessing Sins

This is the first occurrence in the Bible of any requirement for confession. After Moses listed several sins, he called for the guilty party to confess his sin. A precedent for all time was set. As a general rule, the priests confessed all Israel's sins when they offered sacrifices. God requires that we acknowledge our wrong- doing. He is more interested in producing righteousness in us than in punishing our wrongs.

Leviticus 5:5 - "And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing."

OMBS7 plus 3 videos of healing

Jesus summed it up in one verseJohn 14:6 – “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.” All of man's questions of life are answered in this verse.

When Thou Art In Tribulation

Just before the second coming of Jesus Christ, a time will come called "Jacob's Trouble," Daniel 12:1, better known as the Great Tribulation. This will precipitate a national spiritual revival for Israel.

Deuteronomy 4:30-31 - "When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them."

Afraid To Pray

The Israelites were terrified of the voice of God that spoke from Mount Sinai. They asked Moses to relay their prayers. They promised that they would obey whatever God told Moses to tell them. God knew better. "Oh, that there were such an heart in them!" He promised many, many blessings if they would simply walk in His commandments.

Deuteronomy 5:27 - "Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it."

The Lord Is One

Jehovah is not Allah. The Koran contradicts the Bible again and again. Both cannot be true. Let the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob be God. He is the only one, true God. He is a singular Spirit, ONE LORD, beside whom, there is no other. Jesus is the bodily incarnation of the one true God. Love Him with all your might.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 - "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."

In Time To Come

Moses published the Ten Commandments the second time in Deuteronomy 5. He emphasized that God's laws, testimonies, statutes and judgments were the script for a holy nation to come.

Deuteronomy 6:20-25 - "And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies...? Then thou shalt say unto thy son, ......the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments."

Jesus is rejected by His own people but embraced by those in need.

Jesus Birth/ The Price/ OMBS7

God’s announcement of Jesus’ birth to shepherds reminds us that He sees each of us, no matter where we are in life. Shepherds were humble, lowly workers, often forgotten by society. But on that night, the sky opened up with angelic songs, and these shepherds were the first to hear about the Savior’s arrival.

God’s choice to share this “good tidings of great joy” with them shows us that His love is for everyone—regardless of our status or position.

Sometimes, God speaks to us in unexpected ways and places, just as He did with the shepherds in their fields. His joy and presence can reach us anywhere, even in life’s simplest or hardest moments.

Jesus said, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). There has always been a price to follow Christ, and for many it has been the ultimate price.

Follow The Cloud

From the first day the Tabernacle was in service, for thirty-eight years, God's glory was manifest as a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night in the sight of all the people. When the cloud moved, they moved. When it stayed, they stayed. Always follow God wherever He leads.

Exodus 40:36-37 - "And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up."

Leviticus

Leviticus is a seminal document, in many ways more profound than the United States Declaration of Independence or Constitution. How? First, Leviticus sets in order the priesthood, and by default, organized religion. Secondly, it contains the germ form of a universal code of civil law that now rules not only Israel, but also most of Western civilization. Although Hammurabi's Code (Babylon) predates "Moses' Law," the Judaeo-Christian ethic can be seen far more predominantly in governments everywhere.

Leviticus 8:5 - "And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done."

Sacrificing A Male Without Blemish

God instructed Moses to tell the people to bring sacrificial offerings to the priests so atonement could be made for their sins. Specifically, they had to be male cattle, sheep or goats, without blemish. And they had to be presented voluntarily. All these conditions prefigured Jesus Christ, spotless lamb, who freely offered up His life for our sins.

Leviticus 1:3 - "If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD."

The Meat Offering

The meat offerings were different from the blood sacrifices. "Meat" is a general term the ancients used to refer to all food. The meat offering was a FOOD offering. It had to be unleavened bread (baked, cooked or fried) with oil, and salted. Part was burned on the altar to the Lord, and part became the priests' food. It also symbolized Jesus, the bread of life.

Leviticus 2:8 - "And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar."

Be Satisfied/ OMBS7

With long life will I satisfy [you], and show [you] my salvation.

Psalm 91:16

Did you know that it's not God's will for you or anyone to die young? His will for you is to live the full number of your days. You ought to live 70 or 80 years, and if you are not satisfied, live awhile longer! The Bible says that when Abraham died, he died at a good old age, full of years. That's the way it ought to be with all of us.

Some believers don't realize that and they've gotten themselves in a mess. When they get sick, instead of just believing for healing, they start wondering if it's God's will for them to die. Maybe He's ready to call me home, they think.

Don't ever entertain thoughts like that. If God has His way, He won't call you home until you're good and ready to come. The Apostle Paul understood that. In 2 Timothy 4:6-7, he said, "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." Paul didn't die until he and Jesus were ready for him to go.

Regardless of your age, if the devil is telling you God isn't going to heal you because it's time for you to go home, he is lying to you. God promises in Psalm 91:16 that if you are living under the shadow of the Most High, He will satisfy you with long life. (That means that you are abiding in Him as Jesus taught in John 15.)

If you're not satisfied that you have finished your course yet on this earth, it's not time for you to die. So ignore the devil and keep right on living. Resist sickness and disease in the Name of Jesus. Stand on God's promise!

Then, when you're ready to go on to heaven, go! But go satisfied, healed and ready! Go in victory shouting the words of that old joy-filled song—"Heaven is near and I can't stay here. Goodbye world, goodbye."

Love Thy Neighbor

God's word is profoundly good. What would we do, or where would we be without God's word? It is the ancient, historical, DIVINE source of priceless values. Things like: "...don't curse the deaf," "...don't stumble the blind," "...have no respect of persons," "...don't be a talebearer," "...don't hate your brother," and the best of all, "...love thy neighbor as thyself." Thank God for His word!

Leviticus 19:18 - "Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD."

Seeking After Wizards

God Almighty is the eternal, omnipotent, omniscient Spirit. He is sovereign and able to do exceedingly above anything we can ask. Understandably, He is completely intolerant of those who put their trust in evil spirits of any kind. You can get the help you need from God. If God will not give it, you do not need it and should not want it. Consulting devils is the ultimate slap in God's face.

Leviticus 19:31 - "Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God."

Child Sacrifices

The heathen were known to make child sacrifices by fire to various gods, including Molech, Milcom and Chemosh. One prominent location was the Valley of Tophet, or Gehenna, at Jerusalem. Priests beat drums to drown out the voices of screaming, dying children. God abhors such horrors, pronouncing the death penalty on anyone who practices such.

Leviticus 20:2 - "...Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones."

Familiar Spirits

God is the ONLY UNCREATED SPIRIT. All other spirits were created by Him; angels, men, and all living creatures. Angels who sinned became unclean spirits. They are diabolical enemies of God. They keenly observe humans to become FAMILIAR with them that they may falsely pose as God. Foolish men and women confuse familiar spirits with God. God will destroy everyone who consults these evil, familiar spirits.

Leviticus 20:6 - "...the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, ...I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people."

As you go about your day, try to approach challenging situations with a heart of mercy, trusting that God is at work, even if you don’t see the whole picture yet.

The Name of Jesus Holds Incredible Power

Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6).

Sometimes it looks like we have lost the battle – a sudden financial downturn, a bad news report, the scale won’t budge except by moving upwards. But we know that even if it looks like we have lost a fight, God is the author of our lives, and He is not content with letting the devil have the last word. Continue down below

Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus...” (2 Corinthians 2:14).

At these times when we are tempted to lose our faith and hope, we need to remember that God will engineer a rematch in such cases, and He has rigged the outcome by giving us an unbeatable weapon – His name.

We believers have been given an amazing gift, the authority in His name to pray and to exercise His power in this world. The name of Jesus carries inherent power to cause every adverse thing to bow, and will pull you out of whatever you’ve been stuck in.

There is healing and deliverance available in the name of Jesus. If you want to turn the battle around, draw a line in the sand against the forces of evil, and shout the name of Jesus!

And what better way to learn the power of the name of Jesus than examining the Acts 3 account of Peter, John and the paralytic by the Beautiful Gate.

I want to say that this has been so rewarding of a year and it’s not over yet. Continue reaching to God.

Intercessions/ OMBS7/ intercede

What does the Bible say about Intercession?
- Intercessory Prayer Scriptures

Intercession, as mentioned in the Bible, refers to the act of praying on behalf of others, often seeking God's mercy, guidance, or intervention in their lives. The concept of intercession is deeply rooted in various passages throughout the Bible, emphasizing the importance of believers lifting up their fellow human beings in prayer.

One notable example is found in the New Testament, specifically in the book of 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NIV), where the Apostle Paul encourages believers to engage in intercessory prayer: "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."

Additionally, the Bible portrays Jesus Christ as the ultimate intercessor, mediating between God and humanity. In the book of Hebrews 7:25(NIV), it is stated, "Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him because he always lives to intercede for them." This verse highlights Jesus' ongoing role in advocating for believers before God.

Intercession is not limited to specific individuals; believers are encouraged to intercede for one another, for leaders, and the world at large. The Bible underscores the transformative power of prayer and the potential impact it can have on the lives of those being prayed for. Through intercession, believers demonstrate a commitment to selflessly seek the well-being and spiritual growth of others, reflecting the biblical principles of love, compassion, and community.

Touch Not

Everything in the Tabernacle was portable, because Israel was on a journey. God required them to put rings on the four corners of the holy furniture to slide staves into for the priests to lift and carry the items. The Ark of the Covenant could NEVER be touched by any man, and the staves must never be removed. This teaches reverence and sanctity for the things of God and the ministry. Modern Christians desperately need to re-learn this lesson.

Exodus 38:7 - "...he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal."

The Breastplate

The priest's breastplate was attached to the ephod (vestment) by golden rings. It had twelve stones, each representing a tribe of Israel. This dramatized the role of the High Priest as the intercessor before God in behalf of the twelve tribes. Some believe that individual stones became illuminated when God had a special message for a particular tribe. A man of God carries the burden of the people continually over his heart.

Exodus 39:8 - "And he made the breastplate of cunning work, ...It was foursquare; ...And they set in it four rows of stones."

Obeying A Mystery

Moses' team created the entire Tabernacle with literally hundreds of intricate details as prescribed by God. The furnishings, the consumables (incense, oil, sacrifices), the garments (robes, mitres, vestments, etc.) and much, much more. There is no way they could have understood the amazing prophetic significance of all those things. In like manner, we must also obey God many times when we have NO CLUE what His purpose is.

Exodus 39:43 - "And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them."

The Glory Cloud

The ultimate purpose of the Tabernacle was to be a place where God manifest His glory to the people. On the first day the first service was conducted, God covered the place with His glory. Jesus built the Church (us) for the same reason - to be a habitation of God's glory.

Exodus 40:34-35 - "Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle."

Universal call to intercede:
  • The Bible presents praying for others as a responsibility for all Christians, not just a select few.
  • Examples in scripture:
    • Jesus praying for his enemies: Luke 23:34, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do".
    • Paul's requests for prayer: In his epistles, Paul often asks fellow believers to pray for him and his ministry.
    • James 5:16: "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed".
What does it mean to "stand in the gap" in intercession
  • This phrase, often referenced in Ezekiel 22, describes the act of actively intervening through prayer to prevent calamity or plead for God's mercy on behalf of others.
