PRAYER - "Let No Corrupt Communication Out Of Your Mouth"
We must walk worthy of our calling to follow Jesus. We must radically change our behavior from selfish, worldly and carnal to godly, righteous and holy. "Put off concerning the former conversation [conduct] the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and ...put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour."
Ephesians 4:29 - "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."
PRINCIPAL - "The Lord Is That Spirit Who Removes The Veil"
Not one factor in the New Testament Church is more essential than the presence and infilling of the Holy Spirit. Without being filled with the Holy Ghost, you are an outsider looking in. Without the Holy Ghost, the veil remains between you and God. The Holy Ghost removes the veil.
2 Corinthians 3:15-17 - "Unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
PRINCIPLE - "We Are Changed Into His Image By His Spirit"
The Church is not the product of psychology, psychiatry, sociology or any other human agency of behavior modification. The Church is molded and made by the supernatural workings of the Holy Ghost. Divine change must be divinely choreographed. Nothing but His Spirit can change me. Not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. You must be filled with the Holy Ghost.
2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
PROPHECY - "He Who Raised Up Jesus Shall Also Raise Us"
Eternal life. Many religions teach it, but none other than Jesus Christ demonstrated that life after death is really possible. Jesus rose from the dead. No other religious teacher did. The power of our Creator was manifest and proven in Christ, giving us more than enough reason to believe that we, too, may live again - and forever! Because Jesus lives, we can be assured that God is also able to raise us from the dead.
