PRAYER - "That You May Comprehend His Breadth, Depth, Height"

Paul communicated his strong desire that the Ephesians would be "strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height." I pray that for you, here and now. Be filled with His Spirit. Know Jesus intimately, and deep within your soul.

Ephesians 3:19 - "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God."

PRINCIPAL - "The Savour Of Life Unto Life, Death Unto Death"

A savour is a fragrance or an odor. Paul said that when we have the true knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have a savour, an odor, a fragrance. Our knowledge of Jesus is a sweet fragrance to God. But our fragrance affects people variously. Those who love God also think we have a sweet smell of life. But those who hate God hate our smell. We smell like death to them.

2 Corinthians 2:16 - "To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life."

PRINCIPLE - "Saints: Epistles From Christ, Read And Known Of Men"

An epistle is a writing sent to a person or group of people, usually an elegant and formal letter. Paul did not think he needed letters of commendation to present himself to the Ephesians, because "Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men." Real saints of God are letters from God to the world.

2 Corinthians 3:3 - "Ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

PROPHECY - "A New Ministry - Serving The Testament Of The Spirit"

"[God] hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life." Those who served the Old Testament ceremonies administered death, because the Law rendered everyone sinful. But we who serve the New Covenant administer grace via the Gospel plan of salvation (John 3:3-5; Acts 2:38). When we preach the baptism of the Holy Ghost, we administer life to those who will have it.
