We must not allow feelings of unworthiness to prevent us from approaching the LORD. In 1868, Joseph Scriven penned these familiar words: "Oh what peace we often forfeit! Oh what needless pain we bear! All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer!" You may feel like dust and ashes, but God says, "Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me," Psalms 50:15.
Genesis 18:27 - "Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes."
PRINCIPAL - "The Alpha, Omega, Beginning, End, First, Last"
Remember that this is Jesus speaking. "I am Alpha," - first letter of the Greek alphabet. "The beginning, ...the first." The Spirit of the eternal God resides in the body of Jesus Christ. Although the BODY was not in existence at Creation, the Spirit of Christ is the Holy Spirit of our Father. Jesus as a man was not there, but the Spirit in Him has seen and done it all. Furthermore, He will be there for the rest of eternity. Omega. End. Last.
Revelation 22:13 - "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."
PRINCIPLE - "The Right To The Tree Of Life"
This verse is a body-slam against anyone who refuses to believe that good works have anything to do with our salvation. Yes, we are saved by the grace of God, through the blood of Jesus Christ. But our rewards will be measured by our obedience to God's will - keeping His many commandments. According to this verse, if you do not keep His commandments, you will have no right to the Tree of Life in the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 22:14 - "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life."
PROPHECY - "The Spirit And The Bride Say To Bridegroom, "Come""
The Roman Catholic Church catechism teaches that the Church as the Body of Christ is the fulfillment of the Second Coming of Jesus. The RCC anticipates ruling the world for 1000 years under the Papal system. It does not emphasize that Jesus Christ will physically return for the Rapture of the Church. Nevertheless, the true Church is the Bride of Christ, and Jesus WILL PHYSICALLY RETURN to receive the true Church as His Bride. He is the Bridegroom. He will rule for 1000 years on earth with His Bride.
Revelation 22:17 - "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come."

PRAYER - "Abraham Stood Yet Before The LORD And Drew Near"
Two angels went to Sodom to execute judgment. The third was the angel of the Lord. He stayed with Abraham. As the other two left, Abraham approached the angel of the Lord (He is called the LORD because He stood in the LORD's place - "no man hath seen God at any time," John 1:18). Abraham might have made personal requests, but instead he interceded for his kinfolks, Lot's family. Take advantage of God's presence to intercede.
Genesis 18:22-23 - "But Abraham stood yet before the LORD. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?"
PRINCIPAL - "Things Seen And Heard"
The Book of Revelation is not mythological, fantasy, science fiction, or the rantings of a mentally unstable psychopath. It is the journal of the man who was closer to Jesus than any other man, including the Apostle Peter. John literally SAW and HEARD these visions and angelic visitations while on the island of Patmos. Many of these prophecies are already fulfilled, and soon the remainder will be.
Revelation 22:8 - "I John SAW these things, and HEARD them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things."
PRINCIPLE - "Blessed Are They That Do His Commandments"
A disastrous phenomenon is occurring in modern Christianity. GRACE is played like a wildcard against almost every kind of Biblical rule or regulation. "We are not under the law!" is the euphoric mantra of multitudes of professing Christians who consume GRACE preaching like taking heroin in the arm. ANYTHING that remotely sounds like "you are not supposed to do that!" is viciously branded "LEGALISM!!" and categorically dismissed. Tragically, there are hundreds of commandments in the NEW Testament, and every Christian will be judged by Christ for his compliance or non-compliance.
Revelation 22:14 - "Blessed are they that do his commandments."
PROPHECY - "I Come To Reward Every Man According To His Works"
Jesus will not reward all men the same in judgment. John said, "Look to yourselves, that we LOSE NOT those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a FULL REWARD," 2 John 1:8. "The Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall REWARD every man ACCORDING TO HIS WORKS," Matthew 16:27. No works? No reward! Good works? Good reward! Do everything that God has called you to do.
Revelation 22:12 - "I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."
