Another of His Promises

“... I vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat,...I will surely give the tenth unto thee.”   Genesis 28:20, 22 KJV

We want to always thank the many countries that read our 7-OMBS blog. We have a first visit from Bulgaria and Armenia

PRAYER - "Going Against God's Plan"
Demonic forces tried to take over
Demonic Presence took over clickhere 🔴

God promised Abram on numerous occasions that He would give him and Sarai seed as the stars for number. But years passed, and Sarai had no children. She sovereignly declared that Abram should bear a child by Hagar, her maid. "Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai." Just like Sarai, we open our mouths and contradict God, when we should remain silent and wait on Him. We spoil the miracle and bring woes upon ourselves.

Genesis 16:4 - "He went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes."

PRINCIPAL - "One Of The Seven Angels Having The Seven Vials"

John was introduced to the BRIDE, the Lamb's Wife, by one of the Seven Angels who will pour out the Seven Vials of the Wrath of God. The fact that one angel might summarily execute one of God's most horrifying judgments then immediately celebrate the arrival of the saints of God is a fascinating juxtaposition of both the goodness and the severity of God (Romans 11:22).

Revelation 21:9 - "There came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, ...saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife."

PRINCIPLE - "The City Had The Glory Of God"

The supernatural light of God almost never reflects on material things. In Genesis 1, creation began in darkness. But supernatural rays of His glory will forever reflect upon the Holy City, Bride of Christ, people of God. "He ...shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, ...Having the glory of God." 21:10-11.

Revelation 21:23-24 - "The city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it."

PROPHECY - "He That Overcometh Shall Inherit All Things"

In that exhilarating, unprecedented moment formalizing the end of time, when the old heavens and earth have utterly vanished - melted and dissolved in fervent heat - and as the New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem make their first appearance, Jesus Christ will stand on the precipice and announce, "It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end." Then, a formal welcome to those who sought Him, "I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." Finally, an unimaginable bequest:

Revelation 21:7 - "He that overcometh shall inherit all things."

Here’s another OMBS.

PRAYER - "Just Do As You Are Told"

Abram asked God for a sign to confirm the Covenant. God called for a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old she-goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove and a young pigeon. Without questioning, Abram prepared all those animals for sacrifice. Most of us would have asked God a thousand questions about why we must do such an odd thing. Abram simply obeyed. God responded profoundly. After you have prayed, just do as you are told.

Genesis 15:12,17 - "A deep sleep fell upon Abram; ...behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces."

PRINCIPAL - "The Bride, The Lamb's Wife"

God looked at Adam in the Garden and said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him," Genesis 2:18. The first Adam was not created to be alone. Neither was the last Adam [Christ] made to be alone. The vast 6,000-year saga, from Genesis to Revelation, is above all else, about the getting of a wife for the Son of God. As Eliezer fetched Rebekah for Isaac, the Spirit has fetched a Bride for Christ.

Revelation 21:9 - "Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife."

PRINCIPLE - "These Words Are True And Faithful"

A fellowservant told John, "The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy," 19:10. NOTHING confirms the awesome deity of Christ more persuasively than the fact that prophets have for thousands of years been accurately foretelling His mighty works. The word of a true prophet is more solid than granite, more durable than all the elements, and more reliable than rising and setting of the sun. If God said it, I believe it, and that settles it. These words are true and faithful.

Revelation 21:5 - "He that sat upon the throne said, ...Write: for these words are true and faithful."

PROPHECY - "It Is Done!"

Twice, John prophetically recorded a voice from the Throne of God saying, "It is done." The first occurrence (16:10) will be at the outpouring of the Seventh Vial of God's Wrath, triggering the fall of Mystery Babylon (Rome), the great and final Battle of Armageddon, and the inauguration of the Millennial Kingdom of Christ. The second time "It is done!" is pronounced will be 1000 years later as the New Heaven, New Earth and New Jerusalem are revealed. All sinners will be in Hell. All saints will be with Christ.

Revelation 21:6 - "And he said unto me, It is done."

The fact that one angel might summarily execute one of God's most horrifying judgments then immediately celebrate the arrival of the saints of God is a fascinating juxtaposition of both the goodness and the severity of God (Romans 11:22).

Jesus Christ will stand on the precipice and announce, "It is done.

God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.
