The pray/fasting services at UPCI San Angelo, Texas were amazing! We have four more church services Sunday thru Tuesday October 7-9. Then to Robert Lee October 10-14, everyones invited.
PRAYER - "My Soul Shall Be Joyful In The LORD"
During Jesus' thousand-years reign on earth, joy will be indescribable. Reborn Israel will be glorious, and the Church, ruling the nations as kings and priests, will be more exciting than tongue or pen can tell. I crave to see that day. What joy! What happiness!
Isaiah 61:10-11 - "I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels."
PRINCIPALS - "Priests Of The Lord; Ministers Of Our God"
A priest is an intercessor between God and men. A minister is one who serves the Lord while serving the people. The overall weight of these prophecies in Isaiah 61 show that Messiah will raise up Israel as priests and ministers unto the Lord. The great King must have a great people to serve Him.
Isaiah 61:6,8 - "But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ...For I the LORD love judgment, ...and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them."
PRINCIPLES - "Beauty For Ashes"
Jesus salvaged a discouraged nation. He came to "preach good tidings unto the meek; ...bind up the brokenhearted, ...proclaim liberty to the captives, ...open prisons, ...proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, ...comfort all that mourn; ...give unto them beauty for ashes, ...oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." His beautiful Church came from the ashes of a fallen nation.
Isaiah 61:9 - "Their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed."
PROPHECIES - "The Spirit Of The Lord GOD Is Upon Me"
Would Israel have become an obscure people if Messiah had not come? Did He save the nation from eventual extinction? Jesus is the hope and salvation of His people, but in their unbelief, they have not yet comprehended that reality.
Isaiah 61:1-2 - "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."
