Being content doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have dreams for the future. But as we plan, set goals, and work toward them, we need to live in the present with a sense of PEACE and GRATITUDE.

PRAYER - "Lift Up Thy Prayer For The Remnant"
Hezekiah was sorely distressed by threats from Sennacherib and Rabshakeh to take Jerusalem. He rent his clothes and went to prayer. He sent Eliakim and Shebna to Isaiah, asking for prayer. "It may be the LORD ...will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left." God heard, and promised to destroy Sennacherib. When enemies overwhelm you, call on God. He is more powerful than your enemies.
Isaiah 37:6-7 - "Isaiah said unto them, ...I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land."
PRINCIPALS - "Sennacherib"
Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, captured several cities of Judah. Then he sent a great army under Rabshakeh to capture Jerusalem. Rabshakeh met Eliakim, Shebna and Joah, and mocked King Hezekiah's trust in God. He tried to terrorize them with threats, then offered 2000 horses for Jerusalem's surrender. But Hezekiah had instructed them not to respond. There is a "Rabshakeh" in every believer's life. You do not have to answer to the devil.
Isaiah 36:21 - "But they held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not."
PRINCIPLES - "Fighting God's People Is Fighting God"
Rabshakeh send a nasty letter to Hezekiah, blaspheming God and threatening Jerusalem. Hezekiah went into the temple and laid the letter before the LORD. "God, save us from his hand." Isaiah sent Hezekiah a prophetic word. God was incensed. "Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? ...even against the Holy One of Israel." God sent an angel that night and smote 185,000 Assyrians. Anybody who fights against God's people is fighting against God.
Isaiah 37:33,35 - "He shall not come into this city, ...For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake."
PROPHECIES - "Armageddon Will Begin In Heaven, Then In Jordan"
"My sword shall be bathed in heaven." Apparently, Messiah launches Armageddon in heaven, overthrowing demon princes [stars falling]. Next, Messiah will slaughter "Idumea [Edom]" - southern Jordan! The King of Jordan leads the plunder of Israel for a Palestinian State via "Roadmap for Peace." Southern Jordan will turn into brimstone and burning pitch. "It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste;" a worthless place of thorns, nettles, brambles, cormorants, bitterns, owls, ravens, vultures, and wild beasts.
Isaiah 34:17 - "They shall possess it for ever."

* The first thing Isaac taught us was obedience (Isaac stayed planted when God told him to not move). Don’t move off of the WORD.
* Isaac dug his father’s wells that were covered by the Philistines and didn’t change their names to fit the times. In other words, Isaac honored the former things.
