I choose to walk in the happiness you bring to me through the Spirit, O God. My eyes are fixed on you.

PRAYER - "Your Prayers Ignored Because You Ignore Others'"

God cares for the poor and requires us to care. "He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, ...shall surely come to want. ...Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them," Proverbs 22:16,22-23. If you want God to hear YOUR cries, you must not ignore the cries of those in need.

Proverbs 21:13 - "Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard."

PRINCIPALS - "A Man's Gift"

What is that you have? The gift of God is your destiny. Moses' rod, David's sling, Elijah's mantle - every man's gift is different. "A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth," Proverbs 17:8. "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men," Proverbs 18:16. Avoid pursuing things God has not given you to do. God gave you your gift to do His will.

Proverbs 25:14 - "Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain."

PRINCIPLES - "Treat Other People Kindly"

Proverbs contains hundreds of lessons on human relations. The wise man says that a man's spirit will ordinarily sustain him, but if his spirit is wounded by another, how can he bear his infirmity? "A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city." "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." "Contentions are like the bars of a castle." We should not offend others, but strive to be a friend and brother.

Proverbs 18:24 - "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

PROPHECIES - "Foresee The Evil"

What error is more inexcusable than the one we saw coming? It is one thing to make a mistake in ignorance, but when God has given explicit warnings concerning virtually every hazard a man can face, what is our excuse? One-third of the Bible is prophetic in nature. If you ignore the warnings about things to come, you are inviting disaster. That is why I am so invested in understanding Bible prophecy. I want to be prepared.

Proverbs 22:3 - "A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished."

To become one with Jesus Christ, a person must be willing not only to give up sin, but also to surrender his whole way of looking at things. Being born again by the Spirit of God means that we must first be willing to let go before we can grasp something else. Rain on us God!!!!
